Thornton Oaks Health & Wellness
Exercise is a pillar of good health and Thornton Oaks residents embrace a wide range of ways to stay fit with in-house and outside activities and classes. Ownership comes with a complimentary membership to Running Start, a fitness program offered through Mid
Coast Hospital at Bowdoin College’s Farley Field House. Running Start exercise classes cater to everyone from entry-level beginners to serious runners and the water aerobics program combines class time with lap swimming.
Residents enjoy the fitness-friendly walking trail that borders our community. The trail abuts the Brunswick-Topsham Land Trust trail system and in winter months provides great snowshoeing and cross country skiing opportunities.
